The tube reduction in dia is usually nominal 5-7%, the spacing betweem is more critical. If you have no test bed for thrust try reading RCJI articles about 6 yrs ago or join GTBA for $20.

Too much and too little fuel/oil/mix can be a problem allowing the bearings to skid causing flats. The flow rate is usually small, more a drip feed onto the front bearing and on through to the rear. ...

If I was to buy one it would be from someone like Smithy, while I also live in the UK and am a GTBA member, I wouldbuy a Chinese turbine from OZ as I would have more confidence in it running...

I gave the reference on an earlier post for the 14 blade comp, then you need to do a google search to locate one. There is still then a little work to reprofile so it may be better just to order one...
