i dont know how far you tore your motor apart but i had a problem with a no idle once and found that i put the piston in backwards. the cut out in the lower part of the piston goes towards the front....

iv owned both and the funtana is the way to go> im going to buy a second funtana tomorrow. i didnt like the edge at all and the funtana is a lot easier to fly

if i am correct the mx 400 is almost a carbon copy of the trex and i believe was even designed by the same person and share many of the same parts. not putting down the rex as i have one and love it....

its not a gyro problem i think its in the tail rotor mechanics as it wont return to center even when its not running

my align motor has 2 different size mounting screws the larger ones did the same thing you discribed but the smaller ones worked perfectly. look carefully as the differance is very tiny hope this...

breaking it in, in water is better as the water keeps the comm clean. just running it out of water the comm will wear considerably more and have a lot of brush matterial on it and might leave pits...
