I've seen boats, planes, cars, helicopters, tanks and ufos, but other than the old nikko toy hovercrafts, I've not seen any good ones....do they exist?

They can be had on eBay for pretty reasonable sums of money, out of Hong Kong of course.

So I figured what the heck, ordered one.

Unfortunately, the video only shows the chassis running on asphalt. It's a buggy, run it off road so I can see what it does.

It does look a little bouncy tho- my guess is...

A question on Tamiya r/c cars-

Many of the cars that I have owned in real life (Alfa, Lancia) have been simulated as r/c cars by Tamiya. Most notably the Lancia 037.

The model base, if you will, is based on the TA03 chassis....

I paid 150$ for my mini-quake. The whole thing is stock (380) motor and a duratrax 1100 battery for it.

On a proper charge, I can run for 20-30 minutes.

I have found my Mini Quake to be *extremely* rugged. I even ran it in the snow, and had the electronics smoking due to all the water, and yet it still kicked up rooster tails of slush and had fun.

Ah, I see, but the 1/10 scale standard electric cars sit pretty close to the ground as well, yet have advanced suspensions, or are "carpet knife" cars designed to be run only on certain environments...

I see tons of posts about the (correct me if I get the name wrong) rc18t, but virtually nothing about the Mini Quake.
