RE: Official Hyper 8 Thread

I just put the Dynamite Linkage on. I use that set-up on my CRT too. It works perfect. I also added a longer horn on the steering servo to get max range. I love this buggy.

RE: Official Hyper 8 Thread

It's more cost effective if you have an engine with a crank / backplate already set-up for a pull-starter or a roto-starter. Otherwise, you'll need a new crank, back-plate, one-way bearing, and a...

RE: Official Hyper 8 Thread

You will need to order an Ofna motor mount (a little taller), but not sure of part number. Take it to your LHS and they will match it up.

RE: Official Hyper 8 Thread

I've tried and tried to get them out without taking the shock tower off but can't. The tower slides onto the gear box and I could never seperate the gear box without removing the shock tower. Maybe...

RE: Official Hyper 8 Thread

Awsome pics!!! Can you get the front and rear diff out without removing the shock tower. That really bugged me with the Jammin. PLease do a test since you need to change the fluids anyway.

Darn, I paid a little more since it was going to ship fast[>:] I plan on putting a V-spec in it to start, then an RB WS72 x3.

Thanks for the set-up!!! I'll keep you posted.

RE: Loctite your LST2 screws!

Darn, it too me 15 minutes to locktight the drive train. I raced it and did a Monster Jam demo and the only problem I had was my glue came off my crimefighters in the rear (my fault for being lazy)....

RE: LST2 or 4.6 Savage???!!!! Or LST 1

I stopped racing my LST because the CVD's, hexes, and pins broke every time another truck bumped into one of my tires while driving. Something broke every A-Main I raced it in. However, the LST 2...

RE: Mugen MSR with Sirio .27

Thanks, doing the conversion this evening. I'll put the Sirio on it and see how it does. The racer I'm getting it from had it strip out the diffs on his truck and Ofna buggy.

Mugen MSR with Sirio .27

I was wondering if the Mugen MSR Prospec Truggy can handle a Sirio .27. I know it will fly, but not sure if it will strip out the diffs. Any feedback would be appretiated:D

RE: starting to hate my lst!!!

I had to go to OS 8's after switching to a bigger carb. The Mach would do the same as yours with the MC-59's. Good Luck, but don't give up. It does not sound like it is anything other than the plug...
