Yes Pippin,
I have seen the same blue light flickering on receiver when both Tx and Rx are on. Usually flickers with the twitching sound that the Hitec digital servos make when in idle position.

Just to let everyone know that the SD10G is out. Mine arrived today and is charging as we speak. Won't be able to fly with it for about a week due to time constraints. First impressions is, WOW!

I spoke with Airtronics Tech. Department and six individuals are currently writing the manual. The SD-10G is due out at the end of May, I have preordered mine as well.

Gentlemen, as per my earlier post I change the stock batteries out for a 2200 nimh pack. I haven't charged my battery in 2 weeks and it still reads 10.6 with no usage since charge date of 2 weeks...

Yes, I am using the RDS8000 2.4 in all of my giant scale planes, with both electronic and magneto ignitions. The system has worked flawless for me so far and look forward to their next 10C radio...

The screen on my RDS goes dark when exposed to sunlight during flight. When I am done flying and put it in the shade the screen fonts become ledgeable again. Anyone else experience the same problem?

Clarc, I use the RDS system for the same type of aircraft you fly, my next 35% is going to utilize Smartfly's EQ10 Power Box. Arguably the only way to power giant scale aircraft.

I run a 3800 nimh 6v pack and a 2500 nimh 6v pack. The RX operates down to 1.8volts, your servos will stop working before the receiver does.
