Finally flew last Friday!

With the DLE 111cc and some extra weight it was perfectly balanced. It flew straight without any extra trimming. The landing would be perfect until the wheels rotate 90...

I got the engine and the True Turn 1- 1/2 " A style but does not fit over the 6 prop bolts.

Stoat I am going the same path with you. I am getting a 111 engine too. The DLE 55 will require 5 lb or more to balance and there is NO way I will put so much dead weight.

The left door is the HomeDepot painted one and the right door is the original one.

Just in case you cannot read the paint numbers...

I second that on retract location; move the retract as far forward as it can go and maybe you will not have to round-off much the other end of the skin were the tire will hit so the retract doors...

Here are some pictures of the ESM air retracts.

Some re-positioning of the scissor required so the retract fit nicely in the wing with the door closes and the wheel does not touches any parts...
