RE: Aeropro CAP 231 manual

I just called my friend and he said it's still a kit. It's an ARC and he's assuming there aren't any plans, but an assembly manual. That's what he's looking for.

Aeropro CAP 231 manual

Hello all,

A friend of mine picked up an Aeropro CAP 231 at a swap meet in Perry, GA a few weeks ago. It did not come with instructions. Google searching has turned up that Aeropro is out of...

RE: Hangar 9 P-40 Warhawk

Much like a sport plane. Easy to fly, no bad tencencies. Mine's just a shade on the tail-heavy side, but I can't move weight forward as it's already a handful to taxi. It required a little down...

RE: Hangar 9 P-40 Warhawk

It flies! Yahoo!

I maidened my Hangar 9 P-40 today. Man, does it fly nice!! Very scale-like flight, but yet there's plenty of reserve power on-tap for those high-speed passes. I have powered it...

RE: Let's see your shop and your current warbird project!

Wow, I read this thread and was going to take a few pics of my shop and the progress I made on my H9 P-40.... all the pics of these nice workshops, I think I'd be ashamed of putting pics of mine. ...

RE: 9C - Anyone else seeing these problems?

Well, I was thinking it was something due to the setup, and that would also explain why the P-38 with two ESCs, two BECs, and two outrunner motors doesn't have a problem. I've swapped batteries,...

RE: 9C - Anyone else seeing these problems?

I seem to have developed some glitching issues with my electric planes on my 9C. I also bought one a few years ago and it has been problem-free all this time. I have a DPM Ultimate that has...

Light At The End Of The Tunnel, Part II -

I ordered some nylon aileron bellcranks a few minutes after my last post, thinking that was going to be my solution. They have not arrived yet, but...

RE: Hangar 9 P-40 Warhawk

I had this very long post typed up, but lost it when I pressed the submit button. *sigh*

Horizon didn't have a hardware kit. They told me to send the wings back. I had to cut the wing in half...

What 3-blade prop for a Saito 1.80?

I have a Saito 1.80 that I am putting on a scale crop duster. It's a Cessna 188 AgWagon. Wingspan is 88" and fuselage is 66". I would like to swing a 3-blade prop on this plane, as it would...

RE: Hangar 9 P-40 Warhawk

That's awesome bigtim, thanks! I appreciate you doing that for me. That's about what I envisioned when I saw the hole for a screw in the wing. I don't have anything like that laying around the...

RE: Hangar 9 P-40 Warhawk

Thanks for the reply, bigtim. Yeah, I have the instruction manual but of course it shows nothing related to the retract installation, as the retracts were supposed to be preinstalled. I have plenty...

RE: Hangar 9 P-40 Warhawk

Hi guys, I picked one of these up at a swap shop a few weeks ago that was supposedly NIB. When I got it home (yeah, I know.... I didn't check it well enough before handing the man my money), I...

DPM Ultimate Ultracote colors - which ones?

I have a DPM Ultimate that's several years old, and I have converted it to e-power. It's in need of some covering touch-up, but I don't know the names of the Ultracote colors. Does anyone know the...

RE: Fuel tank size for Saito 1.80

I'm with the Tarheel R/C Flyers in Rocky Mount. We're about 45 mins away from the Youngsville site and we have a great relationship with those guys. We go to see them and we almost always seem them...

RE: Fuel tank size for Saito 1.80

Thanks for the reply guys. I checked the plane today and I have a 16 oz. tank. If I'm going to get close to 10 mins on mixed throttle settings then that's plenty for me as I rarely if ever fly that...

Fuel tank size for Saito 1.80

Hello everyone, I just purchased a new Saito 1.80 for my DPM Ultimate Bipe. I've heard these engines are thirsty and I'd like to see what tank sizes other Saito 1.80 owners are putting in their...

RE: Engine upgrade for DPM Ultimate 1.20

I talked to a fellow pilot/club member at our fly-in yesterday and he has a Saito 1.80 that he's not using. He said I was welcome to borrow it to see what I thought. We're getting together at the...

RE: Engine upgrade for DPM Ultimate 1.20

Yes, I've heard that the Satio 1.80s are very very thirsty engines. A fellow clubmate has one in his Taylorcraft and it drinks glow fuel. Seems to run well and make gobs of power, however.

RE: Engine upgrade for DPM Ultimate 1.20

Thanks for the reply Aviti! I was leaning towards the 1.60 FX but the more I look at that Saito 1.80 the more I like it! I like a 2-stroke's simplicity but nothing beats the prop-swinging power of...
