Mr Know-It-All jefx at it again. I have tried to completely ignore you, but your posts are just plain offensive. I guess I am lying again eh? Yeah the gears are steel... Duh. At no point did I ever...

RE: How about titanium drive pins?

The reason I am breaking the pins is because I upgraded to the cnr hexes. Now the hexes are stronger than the pins, so cranking down the wheel nut puts more strain on the pin. The plastic hexes have...

How about titanium drive pins?

They'd be expensive, but I dont have any way of making my own out of "piano wire" as several people have talked about. And I am really tired of breaking them! I live less than a mile from Lunsford,...

RE: Fuel for thew LST

I use the 30% O'Donnell and haven't had any problems with high temps. I just figured that it's racing fuel, and since you don't get to go WOT too much on the track, i would never have a problem with...

RE: KILLER HOBBIES

I have to give Kudo's to KH. I always check them before buying anywhere else! Best prices, best service... and probably soon to have the best selection!

RE: Fuel costs -

$24-$28 a gallon is rediculous. I know Tower will sell 4 gal cases with a hazardous shipping fee of $20 per case. It ends up being just as expensive. I have heard of several people getting together...

RE: CA glue vs Tire glue

What are you using for inserts? I found that the stock foam inserts to be too soft, and the sidewalls are just plain weak! My LHS only carries the multi-stage inserts for 40 series size tires...

RE: REVO

I bought a Revo too. It was on sale for $419, and I had a $25 off coupon. I couldn't resist. Like the LST, there are weak points on the Revo. Reverse SUCKS!!!!!! toasted the servo the 2nd time I...

RE: mach 26

I know one of the pic's was a guy whose washer/shim caused his piston to sieze and the rod pushed right through the case. Awesome picture. I dont think it's in the washer sticky, but you could search...

RE: Radio/Motor not cooperating

This has been discussed at great length on this board, just do a search for battery in the lst forum. It has been surmised that the battery pack somehow shorts out. If you must use aa's, try using a...

RE: Running too hot?

Im no expert, but I do know that NiMh batt's take a few cycles before they will hold a full charge. My charger is also a discharger, and I try to cycle my new batteries at least twice before I use...

RE: OK whos got serious cash??????????

THis might make it worth it to me... I'll have to think about it though: " FlexTek RC warrants its products to be both a) indestructible, and b) free from defects for a period of three (3) years...

RE: Running too hot?

Well, I'm no expert but don't all fuels get gummy if left sitting in the tank? Lots of fuel companies use dyes... I seriously doubt that the dye burns hotter than the fuel so that statement about...

RE: 2nd spur gear "jiggle"

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger there RCB, I went ahead and got a set of stockers to replace my worn ones. Definately looking forward to those steel gears when they are available.

RE: lst weaknesses?

The LST is the best "all around" truck out there. All of them have good points and bad points, and all of them are FUN! I don't bash mine around much, I mostly run on the track. And I can tell you...
