RE: Engines for 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 scale rc cars.

You could always go for a 46cc CY GP460

RE: Homebuilt Weedeater RC - Clutch

Wonder if you could use a GoPed GSR40 clutch on that. Do the clutch shoes mount on the flywheel on that motor?

RE: New Rovan 5T Terminator

You need to put a hose on that Exhaust can. That way it doesn't cover anythign in oil. Extend it out to the rear of your cage.

RE: whats the baja 5sc top speed with stock gearing?

The 5SC / T has a 19T gear opposed to the 5B having a 20T gear in the transmission. It is lower geared to make up for the tire size.

RE: RS4 MT2 convert to car? + Engine questions

Mine is a MT2 and it came with a T.15 engine, and purple chassis. It was fun for beginer rc but after having a savage it was kind of pointless to even fire it up. I had an OS .18 TZ Turbo engine. It...

RE: Savage decision?

I have an X and prefer it to stay an X. It is a monster truck. It is supose to be tall, narrow and short. If you want something that handles well buy a Truggy.

RE: Can all savage engines fit each other?

Pretty much any .21-.36 car engine can be fitted in to a savage. It just has to be pull start / roto start because you cannot use a bump box to start the engine. The .21-.36 car engines are pretty...

RE: Savage 25 Bulletproof Differential Upgrade

The diffs are much easier to access on the newer X's over the older savage 21, and 25's.

RE: Bulletproof differential questions...

Yea bearing failure is what usually what happens to me. Dont shim it to tight side to side other wise you will put excess side load on them. The newer style bearings are larger on the ring gear side...

RE: Manifold studs?

Here you go. 30mm or 35mm lenght is your choice. It has an allen wrench in one end to make for easier installing than a standard cut pice of threaded rod.

RE: New HPI 1/8 Gassers

If you run race fuel in your gasser's then you will get no fuel smell. Mine is sitting the the living room now with 3/4 tank of fuel in it.

RE: New HPI 1/8 Gassers

Wonder how the power is. If the engine is around the same size as a regular .28 then I bet it is pretty gutless. The reason why the nitro motors make so much power is the fuel that they run on.

RE: Savage 2350 or Thunder Tiger MT4??

If the tires are as tall or higher than the hood it is a Truggy not a Monster truck.

RE: Advice on 1st 1/5 scale

Move under its own power and fun to drive are two different things. If you can drift or do doughnuts with your 4x4 1/5 scale on pavement then it would be fun to drive.

RE: Advice on 1st 1/5 scale

Take the front drive shaft out of ethire vehicle and it is out of control. You cant get...

RE: Advice on 1st 1/5 scale

I just dont really find my Baja totaly out of control to the point where I need 4wd. In order to make 4wd fun to drive you need a lot more power. If your racing on a track then 4wd would be a lot...
