RE: Looking for the best .21 for my SUT

I have an HB 26 now and it really does not fit well at all. Anyway, it's no longer an issue I've purchased the O.S. RG. What I'd like to know if the Werks has a racing clutch for this engine?

Anyone know if the Werks racing clutch will work on the O.S. .21 RG?

RE: Looking for the best .21 for my SUT

I ended up buying the .21 RG (P) and I had a coupon for free shipping.

RE: Looking for the best .21 for my SUT

Well, unfortunately the GS SUT will really only accomodate a .21 size engine. I have a .26 in now and I can only get 3 mount screws in the bottom. I'm sure it could probably be modified.

The...

RE: Looking for the best .21 for my SUT

It had an HPI .21bb on it when I first got it and I think it was fine. I've been using the HB .26 for awhile now. The engine is just getting tired and has a very difficult time running in the cold.

Looking for the best .21 for my SUT

I'm running an HB .26 in my SUT right now but I'd like a very reliable and easy starting .21 for racing. The O.S. .21 RG seems my best bet right now. I was curious what others thought?

RE: Savy's in water??

I've run in a downpour, plowed through deep puddles, never had a problem.

I do know that you will need to clean and relube your wheel bearings afterward.

I would do a complete breakdown...

It's from an HB Lightning.

Bad weather modding!

It's cold and cloudy here in Chicago, good time to get creative. I've been wanting to do the throttle mod forever plus I've wanted a wing on my Savage since I first got it.

The throttle mod...

RE: Throttle linkage

I've never changed my stock setup (yet) but I hear the Ofna linkage mod makes a huge difference. Maybe I'll do that today if the weather is as bad as it was yesterday.

RE: Pull-start help!

I second the comment of damage from a roto-start, properly tuned, the pull-start is very easy. I also would agree, just buy a new pull-start, save you a ton of work rewinding the rope, etc.

RE: Just did the shock mod...wow! what a difference

Best of all, it can always be reversed. I've done this on other RC's as well.

RE: Throttle linkage

I can't comment exactly for the Duratrax product, most people use the Ofna linkage kit but I have two guides which include linkage help

RE: Got my Bunker Jumper body

RE: Got my Bunker Jumper body

Got it trimmed and body holes bore, I'm hoping I won't have to tear up that one seat too bad that's over the engine.
