RE: Fokker DRI Build Along

I just started my BUSA DR1 build yesterday. Does anyone know what that original green streaked camo style was called? Does anyone have a link to how to do this?

Thanks,

Phil

RE: Fokker DRI Build Along

I took the plastic cup from an old RC starter and used a bolt with locknuts on it. Our regular starters will not spin a gas engine, but the 1/2" 18 volt drill seems to work great! The first start...

RE: Walkera Dragonfly #36

I'm sorry if this question has been answered in the past 400 pages of this forum. Is there an upgraded frame that can be adapted to the 36? I was wondering about the 3DX 400 composite frame? I...

RE: Cloud Bound 4

I thought I had abandoned the idea of finishing my Cloud Bound, but I saw it up in the rafters the other day and brought it down to admire it. Since we have some large tow-planes, and it is so close...

RE: Alternative battery tray for JR LG?

I ground off the battery holding tabs and then bolted on a Swift battery holder. It has a bunch of tabs for elastic bands and works great!

RE: Problems with a Mega Motors 16-15-3

I had a Mega motor spin its' shaft inside the armature, that would be my guess as to your issue. Hold the large pinion and spool up to see if the shaft is spinning inside the motor.

That might be a risky location for your gyro Okisub if you should ever have a crash. I have read that some have sliced their gyro in half...

RE: Walkera Dragonfly #36

To set up a helicopter or to check for problems consider building a test turntable. I went to Home Depot and bought a $4.00 turntable bearing (I found them in the drawer slider and cabinet hinge...

RE: Which Gyro and Main shaft

RE: Walkera Dragonfly #36
