the o ring thing doesent fix diddly....i too burned up servo's in my eights untill i set the end point corectly and checked it frequently....b ut the o rings never worked for me

the rule of thumb is
holes in tires for outdoor loose loamy type surface with not holes in rims(shoe goo plugs pre drilled ones well)
holes in rims only for indoor blue groove type surface..
