Roger the 617 is the better receiver due to that channel sequencing, but at the end of the day it won't likely be noticed on most airplanes.

Actually there is a difference, in the sequence of channels.

I have been told the 617 RX receives a different channel sequence:

My guess in this situation is not the GUID code in the TX was lost or reset - I am guessing that is hard coded in ROM. But it sounds as if the TX did loose all the RX codes as a result of the...

I use about a dozen AR6100 receivers - all fly well - to well over 500ft.

I just put one in my brand new $400 EDF Jet (Alfa A-4 Skyhawk) without a single worry.

Yep.....You won't be happy with the performance on 3s. They say 20-30 round cells so you are looking at 6s....The 16 turn would do fine on 5s....
