RE: shootin talk

It's called 'slide fire', but I wasn't aware they were making them for the 10/22. I have only seen them for AR15 and AK platform rifles. Surprisingly, they're they're still in stock at several stores.

RE: Anyone ever deal with these guys???

Schumacher Manic... I haven't seen one of those in years. It's also like $100 cheaper than they originally were. I think they only sold a few, wouldn't surprise me if someone bought a bunch of the...

RE: How to convert OS engine to Pull Start

Be sure to loosen the plug about a turn when you start a new motor.

RE: RC car memes part 2

Maybe it's because the average age bracket around here seems to be a bit higher than that of places like memebase and the like?

Personally, I can't stand them. They also don't adhere to the...

RE: whatcha get?

Samsung Galaxy S3, that's about it, but it was because I desperately needed a new phone. You get less and less presents when you get older.

RE: Turbocharged nitro engines

TL;DR:

supertib acts a fool, and can't spell.

phmaximus instigates supertib into an incoherent rage.

RE: HPI GASSERS!!!!!

Haha, it's almost like you have absolutely no understanding of relative atmospheres.

You do realize turbocharged sleds are draw through, and closed circuit rotary valved, right?

RE: Penny for your thoughts on 'Rally' vehicles

They're touring cars with grippy tires and slightly longer shocks. They'll get stuck on the same stuff a touring car will. About the only place you can run them (at least their intended purpose) is a...

RE: UbidRC

These penny bid sites are a scam. Shill bidding everywhere. Stay away from crap like this. You think you got a good deal, but I would probably research a little more about the stuff you bid on....

RE: HPI GASSERS!!!!!

'Injecting air' is not the same as 'boosting'. These small engines cannot be turbo charged because the power loss through the turbo is greater than any gain. The super chargers are still up in the...

RE: Dream Car

Completely restored VW double cab truck. I don't want anything extremely expensive, or fast... just something I could drive every day.

RE: Are your rc vehicles insured?

I have renters insurance, all my hobby stuff is on file and documented with my insurer. My neighbor was big into the large scale stuff, he got home from work one day and it was all gone, along with...

RE: Superglue vs Epoxy

CA (super glue) is very brittle. Tire glue is CA with vinyl added, it's a bit more flexible, but still pretty brittle. Epoxy can be flexible, but can also be extremely brittle, depending on what you...

RE: *Official Hyundai Accent LC (2nd Gen.) Thread*

Ha, no. Plugs don't work that way. Just because a filter says K&N, does not mean it will add power, especially if it's a stock OEM replacement. If it's a 'CAI', you probably lost power after removing...

RE: novarossi tx15r/n

Too low? Is it not shifting into second gear? The tx15 (cx15 with a turbo head button) is a baseline motor, the 3.3 actually puts out more power.

RE: Is driving a slow rc car boring after driving a fast one?

I don't mind it. I have a M05 with a brushed P2K2 stocker. It's quite a bit faster than stock, but slow as hell by brushless standards. The awesome thing though, it'll run for 45 minutes on a 5000mah...

RE: High temp RTV as exhaust gasket?

Cut a new one out of thin cardboard, it'll work a lot better than RTV, which will probably just blow out. You can also get exhaust gaskets for these engines at just about any small engine repair shop.

RE: How'd Work Go?

Well... our shop has about 3 welders, when it should have at least 8. Our work load is ****ing enormous. I have worked weekends for the past 2 months. It's ridiculous.

I think they're perfectly fine the way they are. Prices are a little high, but the quality and support is there. They make great cars for beginners, as well as great cars for those of us who have...

What the hell is up with all these topics lately? A ton of them have nothing to do with RC cars in any way.
