RE: sudden high revs/spur gear eaten again

Final idea, make sure your frames aren't bent. Even a slightly bent frame rail can cause the spur gear to melt or strip out.

RE: OFNA 9.5 MBX

I will be using it for bashing for the most part. I may go over to the local track on occasionj for practice night but that would probably be the extent of it. I am comfortable tuning engines,...

RE: OFNA 9.5 MBX

Thanks for your prompt reply. Would you have any other recommendations? I would like to keep the price under $400.00. There are so many different buggies, it's hard to choose the best setup.

RE: Receiver Batteries

Well that makes sense, The controller doesn't have any motors to operate with twice the battery power. It should last longer. Thanks Stevblutu15.

Hey Savage_Dias, do you know if I could use my Hobbico 900 AC/DC Auto Charger with that battery pack you recommended?

RE: Receiver Batteries

Thanks for the info. I was afraid the new fail safe was defective. What about the batteries in my radio controller? Do I need to replace them now also?

Receiver Batteries

How long should I expect the receiver batteries to last in my Savage? I have run 9 tanks of fuel through it and it seems the batteries are dying. The truck will intermitantly not respond. If I turn...

RE: H2 GONE !!!!!

I didn't say anything mean, I don't want to offend. Anyway, a picture is worth a thousand words.

RE: H2 GONE !!!!!

Not to put my nose where it doesn't belong, but, I would say they're both outstanding trucks. If you look at the passenger compartments, it looks (from the photo anyway) that there is very little...

I received a new Savage 25 from Santa and I have a quick question for the Pros. I know the steering servo is a little light, but before I ran the truck today, the front steering servo would make a...

RE: JUST got a Savage NEED HELP

I dont' recall where I saw the thread, but I recently read that with the Savage, you shouldn't try turning the wheels while the truck isn't moving. This can burn up the servos. If you need to turn...

RE: what did you get for christmas

Dude, that aqua vu is awesome. My brother has one, he uses it for ice fishing and jig/bobber fishing. You can actually watch the fish hit your bait! It always amazes me to watch that screen.
Enjoy...

Not to brag, but I received a Savage 25 RTR with all the fixings. Everything from fuel bottle, batteries, AC/DC Auto Charger, glow plug wrench, to spare glow plug and 1 gallon fuel. O.K., I'm...

RE: after run clean up

Thanks, I'll pick some up just in case it does sit for a while. Though it's not likely. I don't have the truck yet, but my wife let it leak that I'm getting a Savage 25 for Christmas! Any additional...

after run clean up

Do I need to do anything to my truck after I run it? I heard I have to put a solution in the motor because the nitro is corrosive. Thanks for any advice.
