RE: WIN A FREE Scale Fuselage from V-East & Graupner Helis

Just a few days left. Might as well take a chance.

RE: SHOW US YOUR GAS BOATS!

Here's my latest, a Insane GenII Cat , 260 Zen with modded J&G topend by Carlo at CC Racing, modded Walbro 257 carb, 7016 2 blade prop, CC Racing 2" bandpipe with stainless 90 degree header, and...

RE: Noob needs help!!

From what I can see from your last picture, it seems that the rudder has the bottem kicked in towards the front. You might try and set the rudder to where it is perpendicular to the keel.

RE: Ebay Hull "Arrowshark"

I posted a short video of my son running the boat for the first time. His driving skills still need a little work, and he was afraid of wrecking my boat so he only did short bursts. Hope this works....

RE: Finaly finished my boat

I'll have to agree with TERBObob. The stinger should be parallel to the bottom of the keel as a "starting" point. ( no negative or positive trim). If you are using the round collet for the flex,...

RE: Throttle linkage

Thanks,

That one is actually my first gas boat. I am very pleased at the way it looked and performed. If you decide to buy that hull on Ebay, be prepared to do a little extra work to the hull. ...

RE: Ebay Hull "Arrowshark"

The solder job on the flex and ferule held up nicely this weekend. The first 45 minutes out there was quite irritating, though. Seemed that as soon as we got up to speed, the motor would start to...

RE: Ebay Hull "Arrowshark"

Hi ozbryan,
I apparently got in a little too much of a hurry when I soldered my flex shaft to the ferule. I barely got the boat on plane when the joint failed. I resoldered it after I got home,...

RE: Top Secret Boats MFG. + hardware questions

I bought all Top Secret Boats hardware for my hull not too long ago. Their website is very easy to navigate, very quality parts, great shipping. I find it better to go to their website, rather than...

RE: Ebay Hull "Arrowshark"

I agree. They are only vinyl stickers though, so I believe with the right stuff, I should be able to remove them without damaging the gelcoat.

RE: Ebay Hull "Arrowshark"

Well, it took me long enough, but I finally finished the Arrowshark and it's ready to get wet. Now if the weather doesn't decide to get too windy, I might be able to do it this weekend. Hopefully I...

RE: Water pump output question

The water jacket on my Zen has two input and two outputs. I run a dual pickup rudder. I use 1/8 line coming from the pickups to a 3/16" barbed Y connector that goes to 3/16" line to the pump. I...

RE: Help starting a Zen 260

On my Zen G260PUM, I have the high needle set at 1 1/8, and the low set at 1 7/8. I am running a Walbro 257. I put my thumb over the intake to choke the carb and pull the starter rope until my...

RE: Filling an IV bag

Same methods as you would for nitro. Most important would be to burp the bag to remove any air that may be in there after filling. I use a Dubro quick fill and a squeeze bottle. After filling the...

RE: Ebay Hull "Arrowshark"

90 KPH, that works out to about 54 MPH. With a 23 Zen to boot! I've had my hull now for about a month and a half, and am still putting it together. Been slowly gathering all the parts together as...

RE: Ebay Hull "Arrowshark"

Had to make a bracket to hold the bellcrank out of some aluminum angle to work with the clutch setup.

Another thing you might check is the transmitter. Check the throttle end point adjustments.

RE: Ebay Hull "Arrowshark"

Your probably right about that one. This is my first hull, so I didn't really want to spend a whole lot of money on a hull until I am sure this is the way I want to go. Other than the transom not...

Rudder depth below keel?

I'm setting up a mono hull and have installed all the hardware on the back of the transom. My question is, how far below the transom should the rudder extend below the keel? Right now, it is close...
