From what I can see from your last picture, it seems that the rudder has the bottem kicked in towards the front. You might try and set the rudder to where it is perpendicular to the keel.

I posted a short video of my son running the boat for the first time. His driving skills still need a little work, and he was afraid of wrecking my boat so he only did short bursts. Hope this works....

I agree. They are only vinyl stickers though, so I believe with the right stuff, I should be able to remove them without damaging the gelcoat.
