RE: RE: wingtote cust service

Hey wow, I'm glad you all know how to run a business. Now go do it and shut your traps. You all seem to just sit there and whine, even if WingTote is in a tight spot right now. I'm sure all of you...

Tell him to throw a half a pound or so in the nose, and feel the difference in IMAC... I flew my Sukhoi with a ZDZ 80 and the servos in the tail... it was OK, but I liked it more with the weight and...

Definately try to get a Cap! The Sukhoi will come out too tailheavy, even with the servos moved up.

ZDZ 80 RPM's?

Like I said.. 10 gallons.. I have tried 3 different stations, nothing changes. I did go from Belray H1R to Honda HP2, and the motor seemed a little more responsive with the HP2, but not top end...

ZDZ 80 RPM's?

I can drop the RPM at WOT by opening the needle.

What would cause it to not get enough fuel?

Airbike: I had the 26-10 on from the very first run all the way to 10 gallons. I saw absolutely no...

ZDZ 80 RPM's?

Ok, we are missing some points here..

I HAD a 26x10 NX on it, and I only got 5500, and that is why I switched to the 26x8. I can't believe the Bambula having a larger load, the blade isn't nearly...

ZDZ 80 RPM's?

I had the rolled ends on there, and when I cut them off, I saw no difference... I went to a Bambula 26x8 and I got up to 6100.. I have messed with the timing, advanced and retarded it, made no...

Re: RPM's - Finally!

What is your altitude? This is driving me nuts, I can't get past 5500 with that prop/muffler.. even with the rolled ends removed. Did you get an RPM reading before removing the rolled ends?

bme 50 idle questions

Sounds lean on the low end... my 50 dropped right down to normal idle when I cut it quickly. Obviously, if it was too rich it would sag then come up.

ZDZ 80 timing

Ive also got the Bisson muffler, and I was only getting 5500 with a 26x10, even after 10 gallons. I did mess with the timing today with no changes. I will bet money that the problem is the muffler,...

RCS180 ignition flamouts

I was told this by both BME... The defective sensor overheats after so much operation, and allowing rest cools it off and it works again, but overheats and fails. I don't know how RCS has it attached...

Re: RCS180 ignition flamouts

They could have gotten a bad run of hall sensors... Have you let it set for a while, then tried again later to see if it sparked>

3W-75 Carden 30% Cap Cowl???????

4:1 applies to everything. You need the air inside the cowl to get out too, otherwise it compresses, causes running problems and heating problems. You definately do not have enough exit area. You...

ZDZ 80 RPM's?

I have checked and double checked my timing, it isn't off. The motor runs like a top, I can idle down to 1,100 reliably on the ground, and let it sit there like that. I assume if it was too retarded...

ZDZ 80 RPM's?

I believe the tube-chopping has to do with the wrap-around pitts-style muffler, which is what I have.

ZDZ 80 RPM's?

Mike Dooley said this was true, but I did it and had absolutely no change...

It's just a 2 minute hack job, give it a shot and see if you get any change...
