Yes you can definatley use NiMH for 3D, just watch which voltage you get. If you get a 6V pack you will still need a step down for your gyro servo since most of those are rated for 4.8 only. ...

Not sure about the canopy crossing over, but I dont see why it wouldn't. But the windshield has the same part number for both the V1 and the V2 canopies. Actually wait, it wont fit...

The BEST thing to do is the two-part automotive clear coat, it won't yellow or degrade from the nitro fuel. However the fumes are very harmful, alot of people have had luck taking their canopies to...
