I knew it lowered the power but the restrictor hurts fuel economy too???
I'd have thought the restrictor would help fuel milage.

No it's on & off the throttle with about 50% WOT.
& 4min 30 sec is very wrong in a 5 min race!!! LOL!!
I'm guessing I need about 6 min run time including warm up.

OK the 3:30 was wrong I wasn't paying attention!!:eek:
I leaned it out (temps in the 270 range) & I'm getting 4 1/2 mins, still not good enough.
I'm figguring with 5 min races I'll need at least...

OK I'm getting about 4 min 30 sec out of a tank of fuel (Traxxas Top Fuel 20%)
This is on my oval dirt track, I'm practicing with my RC10GT RTR Stock (pretty much) until I get my Klein sprint car...

OK lets set some things straight.
K&N filters are not paper, they are a cloth type mesh,
K&N's are exelent for sand, I use them on my Raptor & I go to the sand dunes all the time,
K&N's are not...

The Triton does look nice but the Piranha looks more like what I need if it'll charge my reciever pack as well as the starter pack..
