RE: Great Planes Escapade .40 ARF

Do all of you balance your plane at the CG recommended by GP? At 63mm, my plane is tail heavy.  At 70mm she balances but feels and reacts nose heavy.  63mm looks WAY too far forward.  The main spar...

RE: Great Planes Escapade .40 ARF

RE: Great Planes Escapade .40 ARF

I owned a Sig Four Star 40 similar to the Escapade. It needed a long final approach. I read this one likes to land long as well so it seemed adding flaps would be an easy upgrade. I may not need...

RE: Great Planes Escapade .40 ARF

Started working on my new Escapade last week. Mine will be electric. Hopefully my motor will be in by next week so I can start flying before month's end!

RE: Goldberg Electra - Suggested Motor and Prop?

Well, I knew they were both 550 motors, but the Kyosho appears to be turning more RPM than the other one. I haven't run a tach on it yet. I actually didn't throw it away....it's mounted in a small...

RE: Goldberg Electra - Suggested Motor and Prop?

I've already built the kit for direct drive (the way the motor mounts).

What new motor options with a planetary gear box does anyone recommend for this kit? I was checking out the Aveox...

Two pencils (eraser side up!) have always been my tools for CG setup. As for throws, I put in as much as I can without straining the servos and then configure my rates at 50%. After the first few...

I think that it's a pylon racer. Can't say I know the name of it....but you might try searching "Reno Races" and see what that turns up.
