I was thinking about turning down the shaft about an inch on a lathe making it smooth so it would ride on the pipe not cut the pipe

they look like a good deal but I want to make sure they will last.

The reason they are reverse thread is so when the wheels turn they tighten the nuts. Its probably the best thing to keep your wheels from coming off.

Well I did it !! leaned the low speed needle about a half a turn running 228deg and it is back to snapping upon hitting the throttle

It's not the instantanious snap it just seem a lot more slugish within the last three tanks I only have about 3/4 gal thru it
