This looks good. Thanks. Yes 10% would be a lot. Only looking for 10 mph increasa in top speed. as for the minimum wing thickness per the rules. I will not be racing this plane. It will be for fun...

hi' Bmatthews. this is a lanier kit. It's intended use is a giant scale pylon racer. the only thing lanier list about the wing is span of 84inch, area 1500.
the foam cores that came with the kit...

Is anyone making the chip hyde double vision? I know chip is out of business. Word was he sold out to chief aircraft. Chief is not listing it. Netbox hobby has the tunnel vision, but not the bouble....

This may help. g26. 18.6 corbon prop. Macs header, and pipe .100.1 oil mixed at 80.1 Ei.. 10,200 rpm at 1000 feet. this is on a 10lb 6 oz 120 ultrastick light.

Ok the mower was a bad way to say the hp is lower than its rateing not just the 4.6 but all car/ truck engines. this is just my opinion. it is tuned good geared 2.72.1 with the taller 25 weels....

MY trouble is i would like more power for my ss4.6 with a 1/2 gal run time. of all the engines i have look at. Someone is saying its the best. Not all can be the best. The hp on the box is no good....

Going to get a 3 speed for my 4.6. I would like the take off to stay as it is. if the 3 speed gives 10% more tq as well as 10% more top end speed what gear will i need to run to keep the take off...
