Ryan, thanks for letting me know that the gear worked. I actually got the pinion from hobbyzone and it is the 202 but I hadn't put it on because somebody in the pz cub thread said it was the wrong...

Here is a good comparison of the different connectors. The micro deans are .9g a pair and can handle 15 amps.
