Yes there is a small contingent that builds lakers. Umi has pointed you in the best direction for info on building one. Attached are a couple of pics of my 1/72 Cliffs Victory, 4 years on the books...

Not being able to see what your set up is... it's hard to diagnose what the problem might be. Have you checked your radio settings and your speed control settings to ensure a proper neutral?...

Take a look at www.mackproductsrc.com. They have gear trains that cover just about any need you might have. I use a Mack gear box in my Hartman Tug and it works great. You could always put together...

Glad to hear your gonna give it a try. I believe that many builders substitute plastic card for the wood, using the old parts as templates. You don't have to fill any grain to make a steel look on...
