The hs65's come with a metal gear variant and they are great value. The futaba servo looks nice too though but plastic gear suck on T-rexs!

you should look into the new offering from logictech. It is over half the weight and aparently just as good if not better the the 401. google logictech 2100t.

Please do yourself and your heli a favour and throw the abs blades out. they dont track very well, they are heavy flex far too easy. Being a beginner flexy blades are bad news as landings are not...

If your just learning the only benifit digital will give is that your going to want one later when you get into the hard 3d, and when that happens you will need a good strong servo with great holding...

I put some small fuel tubing over it too, but not the thicker stuff as it makes it move but doesnt retain a position well. The fuel tubing is to give it some grip on the ratchet to make it a little...

tolla; I know alot of people who tried that servo and only one of them are still going and consiquently it is on 5v but it still heats up more then it did when first used. I have read all the hype...
