RE: Top 5 Electric Warbirds?? Lets rank them

The Electrfly WWI series planes have to be at the top of this list. The workmanship on them is first-rate, they go together very easily and they fly great (and very scale)! I have the SE5a and the...

RE: Hangar-9 Sopwith Camel Build Thread

HA! They included the Hangar 9 paint scheme! I'm less sure about realism, though, after flying it for a while. The G2 version was almost impossible to land, this version is too easy. Stall...

RE: Hangar-9 Sopwith Camel Build Thread

EXCELLENT NEWS! RealFlight has just released the old add-on packs 1 & 2 (INCLUDING the Sopwith Camel!) free for download on their web site. They have been updated to work with G4! I just downloaded...

RE: Hangar-9 Sopwith Camel Build Thread

Maidened mine today (Sunday). I haven't posted to this thread before, but I've been following it closely. My Camel sat in the box in a closet for about 9 mos. before I had time for it. Finally had...

RE: New PZ F-27C Stryker!!!! Brushless RTF

Yes, if you have a computer radio, you should get the Plug'NPlay version. It comes without a reciever, battery, or charger. It's about $100 less. Buy a micro reciever (Hitec, FMA, whatever you like...

RE: New PZ F-27C Stryker!!!! Brushless RTF

Got mine this week. Plug'N'Play version, used FMA M5v2 reciever and Hitec Optic 6 radio, Thunder Power 2100MhA 3C pack. Awesome. All parts seemed to stay on well for me, anyone have anything fly off?...

RE: F27 STRYKER,WAY PAST THE LIMITS! Part 3

Thanks for the info, Maine_Flyer. I got a 2.3 mm collet adapter and an APC 5.1 x 4.5 prop. Haven't flown it yet, but it looks great.

RE: F27 STRYKER,WAY PAST THE LIMITS! Part 3

Could someone tell me the size of the prop shaft on the stock F-27(A) motor, and/or recommend a collet adapter? I'm sick of the stock props stripping themselves. I'm flying a basically stock F-27...

RE: ParkZone P-51 Mustang RTF

Well, I drilled my plane into the dirt today. I've put my own electronics in the thing and I set the throws on the ailerons too low, and I lost control. Dumb mistake, if I'd kept a cool head, I would...

RE: ParkZone P-51 Mustang RTF

On my last post, I was praising PZ highly for this plane except for the battery door. A few crashes later, and I'm not so sure. First crash: aileron wire slipped out of cheap control horn connector....

RE: ParkZone P-51 Mustang RTF

I totally agree. I recently got one of these planes and took it out to my local club field (a Naval helicopter training field (NOLF) so no goal posts to worry about). The field has nice long cushy...
