I had 3 batts in a box with the plugs on the wrong way. Two of the batts plugs touched and poof. It didn't actually fry my batts but it ruined the plugs.

I think going through grass well depends on good tires and a bit of power to push them (and maybe a bit of clearance too). I have a losi XXX-KE and it roars through grass, probably 20-25mph. Knobbys...

Yeah, Duratraxx Intellespeed 12T. Had it for 9 months now and still goin strong. Althought I kind of wish I would have just gone with the 8T for $15 bucks more.

I bought that exact motor my first time around, the 15x2 Speedgem. It wasn't a bad motor but later I got the Orion Revolution 12x2. Very fast, and not half as much maintainance as the 15x2 speedgem....

I have the Intellespeed 12t. It's a good ESC for the buck. Has a 4-month warranty too if you kill it (I never have yet though).

Nice. I went bashin today at the park. Didn't break anything but I'm Tryin to kill an old speed gem so I overgeared it and ran three batts straight full throttle through grass all the way to the end...

Well thanks for the info. I've heard lots of good things about the JR's so I'll have to look into them more too. I know Futaba is usually pretty good but I once owned one and the wheel broke off...
