If you run a Futaba Radio and the Mamba Max Pro Esc the throttle channel must be reversed before calibrating. I had to do it to my 3PM 2.4. There is a side note in the manual to do so.

Did you check the Lipo Cutoff settings in the ESC? I might be wrong but I believe the default setting is Auto-Lipo and that won't work with NIMH packs. In my Blitz I'm running the Mamba Max Pro...

Just do like I did. Buy one and completely tear it down and reassemble to my specs. I have both the Slash and the Blitz and love them both!

I agree with your post farther up that the revo won't wheelie as easily as the tmaxx but theres no reason with the 3.3 motor tuned right and running on a hard surface that the revo wont wheelie with...

I have my son''s Revo 3.3 set up with stock suspension settings, 14/40 gearing and a Trinity Pipe and it wheelies like crazy when good traction is available:D

That's the exact same electronics I went with other then the radio. I use the JR9303. I can't wait tofly it, should be a huge difference over the CP Pro. Good luck and keep us posted.

Which version did you get? I just got the SE in Silver Carbon Edition. Haven't got all the electronics in it yet but should be flying it this weekend.
