Mark/Rocco: the carbon wing tube is an extremely tight fit in the fuse. I'm afraid that if I get the tube in I won't be able to remove it! Should I sand the tube itself or the inside of the fuse...

Of course another easy fix is to put a 1/4" air dam in front of the cowl cutout! The air dam creates an area of low pressue and pulls out the hot air!

It's a hard thing to do but the right thing is to push full down elevator and build up some airspeed and get the plane flying again. Then you could worry about landing - somewhere?

Robert, after more work and some help from Len Alessi I now have a working PE/JR1221 setup. It turns out that the "problem" was all in the transmitter programming and had nothing to do with the PE! ...
