when building a twin cat, the engines don't have to be side by side unless of course you have the room. as in manny real offshore race boats with multi engine layouts you can install the engines...

i used to have a nitro stampede that i hoped up and added the trx2.5 engine upgrade kit to to try and beat my neighbor who had an all aluminum stampede with a 9 turn motor super rooster speed control...

i have a couple of tricked out 1/8 scale nitro monster trucks and i'm very happy with both of them. but there is a lot of down time with the nitro's and sometimes its just more trouble than its worth...
