RE: Baja engine stutters at top end?

Haven't had a chance to adjust it yet, but will tommorrow. I'm inclined to think it's too rich, and leaning it a smidge would fix it. Anyway, I'll update tommorrow which way it needed to go, ie rich...

RE: Baja engine stutters at top end?

Thanks. That's what I figured it was. Ran outta gas before I had a chance to fiddle with it, but I'll lean the high end down a bit to smooth it out as soon as I gas her up again :) Thanks again...

Baja engine stutters at top end?

My Baja 5B engine seems to run great except when it hits the top end it kinda stutters or cuts in and out somewhat, not a smooth sound like you would expect. Low end and mid-range sound good. What...

RE: HPI Baja 5B with and AM radio???

Thanks Cyclops...I knew once I sold that shiny, alloy MB, I'd end up back in the 1/5 scene soon. Good to be back in giant scale and RCU.

RE: HPI Baja 5B with and AM radio???

I'm thinking the guy selling this probably also has a Savage which comes with the AM radio. Then he decided to sell the Baja and stick with the smaller stuff, so he swapped the Baja's FM radio with...

RE: HPI Baja 5B with and AM radio???

By the way he is asking $799 OBO for the Baja plus $50 shipping, and told me to make an offer for it minus this radio. What do you think would be a fair offer, or am I better off just buying new from...

RE: HPI Baja 5B with and AM radio???

I did ask him why the radio is different, but he is a consignment dealer and just says that is the radio in the buggy and it is not a mistake in the listing. I thought maybe they made a mistake when...

RE: Don't waste your money on upgrading your FG

MB vs MB Pro = not enough a difference to sway a person from buying one or the other, especially if the price is right on a used one. Now if the Pro was 4 wheel drive then you'd have a case to say...

RE: Don't waste your money on upgrading your FG

Ah well one more round on eBay and maybe I'll get this sold afterall. I know I'm tired of it hogging up all my heli space. LOL...Anyway I listed it again on the Bay for an insane reserve of $1050...

RE: New Marder / MT5 Monster Truck / Firehammer / Carson Attack pipes from DDM!

As much as I liked my name, my pick would have been the guy that said DDM Python...You got to admit that is exactly what these pipes look like. It looks just like a python swallowed a large mammal...
