I havn't used older versions of Acad for a while, but you should be able to move, rotate and scale an image using the standard commands. I think I remember using them in 2000, possibly even 14. I...

RE: Autocad 2007

The loft will make a continuous smooth surface...

RE: MESH TO NURBS CONVERTION

I don't believe that rhino will convert a mesh object to surface object yet. Think I read somewhere on their site that rhino 4 is suppose to have a 'back engineer' feature that will create nurbs...

RE: 3D cad newbie project

For the cowl, you would probably want to revolve/lathe it, if your software supports that.

One way, if it is a round cowl, is to make a spline that is the shape of the top half of the cowl...

RE: streching in autocad 2000

It looks like the only way to do it with the builtin tools is converting the object to a block and scaling it from there.

A bit of googling found this tool, xscale. Sounds like it should do what...

RE: What NASA plane is this?

The White Knight was contracted to drop test Boeing's X-37, instead of using NASAs B-52. The project was cancelled a few years back, but Boeing is still developing it, along with DARPA apparently.

It could be...
