RE: Pardon me while I rant

I do build kits. I'm building a 1/4 Pitts model 12 from plans right now but it takes me a while because I build 'em right. It's nice to throw together an ARF now and then and I don't expect them to...

RE: Great planes ultimate 160

Thanks A1. That's just what I was thinking of doing.

I used to be an A1 pcfixer myself. Had to get out of that business before I went insane. [sm=spinnyeyes.gif]

RE: Blades

I assume when you say low speed you mean the heli is still on the ground. If so then yes this is normal. if the frame of the heli can't move to follow cyclic pitch changes the blades will do exactly...

RE: Mx-400 purchase

I have the MX400 pro which has now been upgraded to basically a 450. If I could go back in time and do it all over again I would have started with the 450. With the prices as low as they are now this...

RE: O.S. 37 issues

Have you tried a new glow plug? My 37 was amazing when it was new and running real rich. It never died on me.

RE: Trying to decide on plane or helicopter

This is from an experienced plane pilot and a newbie heli pilot. My advice is to get a good simulator first, or at least try one at the lhs. You're on a limited budget and will run out of money fast...

Hello Bernard,

Thanks for the great design! I was just wondering how the CG works out with 3 servos in the tail? I've got the fuse framed up and the tailfeathers and one wing panel built but...

RE: Pitts M12 26% plans available soon

Mike Emilio,
Search the web for a trial version of Nitro PDF. I used it to trim the border off of the top and bottom of the plans leaving them at 36". I too had trouble getting even blueprint...

RE: Pitts M12 26% plans available soon

Hi Jim,
I'm gonna try a DA50 but I may have prop clearance issues. With a 20" 3blade I think I'll be ok.

RE: Pitts M12 26% plans available soon

I'm right in the middle of the build on mine. It's going slow because of my work schedule. I should have it flying in a couple of months.

RE: du-bro glow fuel pumps keep seizing

I don't know if this applies to the Du bro or not but on my hobbico hand pump there is a small set screw under the label that adjusts the pressure of one of the pump chambers sides against the...
