From what I understand this is a completely reengineered model and the only issue they had before was the very poor elevator mechanism. Wings were fine and there were no issues with flight...

No mate it's ply both sides of the Ali bar then airex on the sides of the ply. Bolts are drilled through the bar into the ply but personally would have liked to see the whole of the triangle filled...
