RE: NEW VXL!!!!!

I'm thinking of getting the Pede. I have a nice dirt lot next to my house and The Revo is just a bit much. A Pede would be perfect.

RE: revo with RPM arms...camber way off

Yup. I have no problems with mine as well. If they weren't meant to be adjusted, they wouldn't have threads.
Just unscrew them to where you need them.

RE: NEW VXL!!!!!

Very good point!! [sm=thumbup.gif]

I think some of us need to step back and realize we are all not the same. We do different things with our RC's. Not every one thinks the same way as you and...

RE: shocks

If your shocks are sagging, all you do is add springs spacers and it will raise the rear end. [sm=spinnyeyes.gif]

RE: Proline Velocity Wheels Offset

If your jumping, the wider stance will make landings more stable, thus landing more jumps and not flipping. If you have the 3.3 chassis and especially the extended a-a-arms you definitely want to use...

RE: Before and after, have a look.

HUH?? Did you read it? AIRevo was correct.

The A-Arms DO extend the wheelbase. I have them and they allow you to move the rear axle farther back, not out(width).
To give a wider stance you...

RE: Revo Race Wheels

It kind of depends on how you have your chassis and a-arms setup.
2.5 chassis with stock arms seem to work fine with 0-offset.
But when you start to use the extended a-arms 0-offset to...

RE: O.S .18TM Rear Exit Exhaust

Make sure you buy the OS.18TM for the MAXX. I will come with a header for the OS engine and you can use the stock pipe and coupler. The stock Maxx header will not work on the OS engines.

RE: tmaxx gas tank

And the OFNA tank gets rid of the lean condition the stock one creates.

RE: o.s .18

If you are running an OS engine, the LC3 plug is the wrong plug. It's too long and is for the Traxxas 2.5 and other engines.
OS engines require OS plugs that are just a bit shorter and for a...

RE: Shock Oil

I ran 45wt to 50wt with OFNA white springs. But it was set for a track.

RE: O.S .18TM overheating. Great, what I screw up now?

The front bearing leaks out, that can be cause from running too rich and real close to hydro locking and something has to give. Some times it's the front bearing. It's not that catastrophic though....

RE: Axial .28?

Why do you want to sue them? It's not there fault... lol

Yes, if it has the same dimensions, then it will work. Try boca bearings.

RE: Cylinder head shims??

I was running my 2.5 with 30%/MC59 plug and didn't add any shim to it. It seemed to run great but still lacks power of the 3.3 or OS TM/TZ.

RE: Cylinder head shims??

Think of it this way. You shim to have the proper area of combustion. If the area is too big, you won't get the best performance out of your engine, Too small and you start detonating.
Detonating...

RE: fuel % question

30% does run cooler than 20%. Nitromethane burn cool because it comes with its own oxygen atoms to help it burn. It's not a huge difference, but slight none the less is cooler.

You can go up or...

RE: putting grease in the center diff

Sure, then go for it. Make sure you completely remove all the grease before adding Silicon oil back into the diff. :)

RE: Clutch spring broke

The MIP is more adjustable with the different holes, but it can make it more confusing and frustrating if installed incorrectly. Other than that, both are equal to reliability and just general use....

RE: putting grease in the center diff

You can try it. But It will be no where near 100K, let alone the 500K you already have in it. Grease just isn't made for that so I wouldn't waste your time.

RE: trx 3.3 or O.S. .18tm

I think some of you guys are missing another aspect of the engine. It's the power band range that the engine will actually have the most power and move the mass the best. It's called "Power Band"....

RE: putting grease in the center diff

Just buy the part to replace it?
Grease will only make the effect worse for you. The grease will allow the diff to diff-out even more than any of the Silicon oils. The viscosity of Grease is more...
