RE: Shockwave 36

Thanks guys! I did pull the glow plug as soon as I got it out of the water and let everything air dry for 1-2 hrs. I turned the motor over several times before I put the glow plug back in. Once the...

RE: K&B 3.5 Nitro OB

I use a regular CEN glow plug wrench. That's why I'm surprised it doesn't fit.

K&B 3.5 Nitro OB

I have a boat with a K&B 3.5 OB. For some reason none of my tools for glow plugs seem to fit it. Either they don't fit the nut or they are to wide to go into the opening on the head. Does this engine...

RE: Filling holes in fiberglass

For some reason the guy doing the painting said not to sand it. Should i use the brake cleaner in those spots and then just wash the boat down with some sort of detergent?

As far as I know it doesn't matter. You just need to make sure you have the proper prop put on it. Right turning or left turning.

Prop balancing and sharpening

Hi. I'm pretty new to rc boat racing. I wanted to know the best way to balance and sharpen 2 and 3 blade props. I have a Shockwave 36, a 43"Sprint Cat and a 37" deep v with a K&B 3.5 OB. Thanks.

RE: RPM's Too High?

That's a nice speed. We used to race against the blown 454 Jet boats. They run around 82 consistently. We won every time. We ran about 86. Haven't had it on the lake in quite awhile though. Sounds...

RE: RPM's Too High?

Baja, how fast does your ski boat go with the 235 Johnson on it? Just curious. Used to take our GW Invader down to Tigert Lake there in WV years ago and run everyone off the lake. It was too fast for...

RE: Sprint Cat

I'm going to be getting one soon. The lake I drive on is calm most of the time, but can get pretty rough when the wind whips across it.

Nitro Engine Comparison

I have a question. What is a better engine in terms of speed and/or reliability? K&B 3.5 OB or the OS Max 21 OB? Thanks in advance for your responses.
