Thanks, I’ve got a good bearing source but I need a non-OS part number to know what to order. The bearing has 4546 printed on it so I’m going to start there unless someone has a specific part number.

RE: JR770 "swamping"?

I would've thought so too but the leads aren't unreasonably long and they have chokers on the ends of them before they go into the rx. Based on what I know of "swamping", I wonder if the aileron...

RE: JR770 "swamping"?

I have experienced the same problem both at home and out at the flying field. At the field, I was well away from any structures at all and had the exact same issue.

Close to the airplane the...

RE: Flying a 120 size Gee Bee R2 without wheel pants?

Wheel pants are installed on airplanes in order to make the landing gear more aerodynamically "correct" in order to reduce drag and increase speed and efficiency. Eliminating the wheel pants on an...

RE: FLY WITHOUT COWL

I agree that pulling the cowl on that airplane is going to increase parastitic drag but I think that claims of instability are somewhat exagerated. I have flown full size aerobatic aircraft without...
