I really like the 75. It has the power to really pull that plane around with authority but it isn't overwhelming. Looks nice.

RE: The Long Awaited Ultra Sport 60 Build Thread

I really like the look of this plane. I started over on the thread and saw the construction pictures and final pics and I really like this plane. I wish they had a 90 or 1.20 size but the 40 and 60...

RE: The Long Awaited Ultra Sport 60 Build Thread

I used the 60 spacers, put the servos per plans and put the battery in front of the servos (mid wing). It balanced great. I set up as a tail dragger with thicker (3/16) wire and 1 inch longer. She...

RE: The Long Awaited Ultra Sport 60 Build Thread

I had to bend new wire and made it about an inch longer than those supplied. I fly off grass and need the clearance but you will need it for the larger prop. I also went up a size in wire to make...

RE: phoenix models yak 54

If it was running backward, the only thing that would happen is gas would be sucked from the tank through the exhaust nipple. There should be 0 pressure because it wouldn't feed back through the...

RE: The Long Awaited Ultra Sport 60 Build Thread

Iā€™m jealous ā€“ I can just smell the wood and feel the texture. I need to find a kit to build. I love my US 60 and fly it every time I go out. Do you need more than one?

RE: The Long Awaited Ultra Sport 60 Build Thread

Minn,
can you show a few pictures of the Tailwheel? Does the top pin go in the fuse and the long trailing one get a 90 degree bend and pushed into the rudder?

RE: Lets see your ULTRA SPORTS !!!!!!!!!!!

So, the barn door flaps are an extra piece of balsa that is hinged by the top covering of Monocoat? Just lay a 3/32 covered piece of Balsa down and drive it with a Servo embedded in the wing?
