I want my mecanical retracts to have a nice 'slow' motion when retracting. Using channel 6 this seems to be impossible.

No, they can not.
I don't understand the problem, why can't Futaba release updates on their website for all to download? And why is Futaba Flyers Club restricted to US buyers only?
