RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

Thanks, will try new plugs, not really sure what is in the engine now.

What gets me is how the air bleeds are arranged on the carb. One side is on the front and the other is on the back of the...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

What kind of idle are you getting. I have a heck of a time getting it below 3000 without one cylinder going out. I am already planning to put on a onboard glow system, but I would like to get the...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

I am still having a bear of a time getting my old model 90t to run reliably. I can't seem to find the spot where one cylinder won't keep going out.

Question to the Saito guru's out there. Is it...

RE: Eletronic engine syncronizer **SUPPORT **

I am having to install my four OS 32sx 2 stroke engines inverted in my C-130, so I think I will plan to get the 4 engine unit. Does it also have the glow plug driver option?

I tried all I could...

25fx and 32sx exhaust port bolt pattern

Hi,

I am building a C-130 and will use 4 OS32sx engines and would like to know if the exhaust bolt pattern is the same as the 25fx.

What I want to try, is to use the Slimline #3216 Compact...

RE: 101" C-130 arf

Ok, thanks. Got the retracts in today and still need to finish up installing gear doors both front and rear. I tried to use the color coded robart tubing with the kit T fittings and my fingers and...

RE: 101" C-130 arf

I have been working on my 130 and wanted to know what strength of servo to use. Is a JR ds821sport digital with72oz enough or should I use Hitec 645mg's with 107oz.

I want to make sure I have...

RE: 101" C-130 arf

I was going through my manual for the OS 25fx's and noticed that the OS 32sx is darn near the same physical size. Now I wonder now if it would be the better choice for this plane? I could probably...

RE: 101" C-130 arf

Well, just from the reports I see on this forum, it looks like this plane needs more than a 30 4stroke. And no 2 strokes inverted. And build it conserving weight.

Now I am wondering if my 25fx's...

RE: Eletronic engine syncronizer **SUPPORT **

Thanks, I found the RCS website and downloaded the manual. That has answered alot of questions. Is it safe to assume that with the 4 engine model I would do the same set up for each pair of engines?...

RE: Eletronic engine syncronizer **SUPPORT **

Ok thanks. I am a long ways from installing engines so I will contact you then.

So there is no problem with the digital servos? That way I can buy the servos I need when I get to that point....

RE: Eletronic engine syncronizer **SUPPORT **

I am getting started on a build of an ASM C-130. I think this twinsync would be a good idea at least on the outboard pair of engines. Has the 4 engine version been worked out?

Engines will be...

RE: 101" C-130 arf

Nice work Jimmy. How do you like the build so far? I ask because I will be building two. What do you think of the manual?

Can you post some pics of the engines and their assemblies. Wondering...

RE: HELP AND TIPS WITH C 160

A pair of os25's would be a better choice of engine for this plane, but those 40's are probably going to cause more harm than good. I can take off from grass at 2/3 throttle and cruise at 1/3. The...

RE: Air Hogs Aero Ace!

Ok, thanks guys. Think I will try the direct connect idea with some left over plugs I have around. The parts are out of the original AA planes and on little 3mm depron planes I build and fly. Right...

RE: Air Hogs Aero Ace!

Ok thanks, I think I will get inside one of the tx's and remove the charge lead and see if it will work with my lipo charger.

Will try it and see what happens. Can't figure out what is wrong,...

RE: Air Hogs Aero Ace!

Is the original charger for the aero ace's built into the transmitter or receiver? My aero aces won't charge through the tx anymore and if I can charge with my lipo charger it would be great.

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

Would exhaust temp be a good way to tune the multi cylider engines? Think that would show a lean or rich mixture more accurately for each cylinder?

Just an idea to see if it might make tuning a...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

Hi Club Saito,

I have the 90t running ok, I think. I have a high speed of 8800-9000rpm and a sustainable idle of 3500-3800rpm without added glow heat. I have under three tanks through the...

RE: The worlds most expensive McDonals toy.

If you have it in the budget, go with the DX7. It has more programming for the helis like the throttle and pitch curves. It is nice to see a real graph rather than a percent number. And you won't...

I say a visit to helifreak.com would also be a good idea when you do get your Rex. Visit the Finless videos thread and download them. They will explain everything you need to set up your heli right...
