RE: VOTEC 2KRC.com LINDINGER.com PASONTEC.com wing FAILURE/update:OWNER BLACK MALIED INTO SILENCE

Ok, I am going to ask everyone to take a deep breath and relax. There is nothing wrong with a healthy debate but personal attacks are not allowed on RCU so lets try to remain calm. This is more of a...

RE: Matching HV servos

The easiest way is to lay them all out of a table, power them up and match them manually before doing anything. With JR's deadband being 0 most servos match up pretty well, I recently used 2 8711s on...

RE: My 40% Carden CAP 232

I would not consider flying that with only 1 pack.

If you fly any 3D or lots of KE you will use more than 400mAh per 15 min flight on a 40% plane, especially if it's a little older and a bit...

RE: H9 Extra 260 35% Servos etc?

7955TGs don't have gear issues so they are a great servo.

Since I run a 922 Powersafe receiver I am basically running a power system with A123s and EC3 connectors. For me I think it's a great...

RE: H9 Extra 260 35% Servos etc?

7995s would be a great choice.... no gear issues there.

Don't really need a power system... if you fly 2.4 get a R922 and 2 A123s and done.

RE: Aeroworks 100cc Edge Build Thread

Well it's been a little while.

Ended up with 3 unflyable weekends in a row between 25-50mph winds and rain :( This has been the worse flying year so far in the last 6 years.

Needless to...

RE: Aeroworks 100cc Edge Build Thread

Well I finally had some time last night to work on a quick video.

Last weekend was 35-50mph winds so I was grounded. This is taken from my 4th flight on the plane. Once I get my CG a little...

RE: Aeroworks 100cc Edge Build Thread

Couple teaser pics.....

I moved my battery back but couldn't move the other back as far due to power lead distance. It looks like I may still need to move other things around since it's still...

RE: ZDZ80RVJ vs DA85

I have played with 4 or 5 ZDZ 80s and they are pretty darn smooth for a big single. I think it's smoother than the DAs I have seen.
