I sorta fancy one of these Seawolves if they are available in the UK - but what frequency are they on? 27 or 40 mHz is OK here apart from the new 2.4GHz which I understand is rubbish for underwater...

Thanks Larry - I'll have a look at the Victoria site - I do have plenty of radio gear 'cos I'm mainly a sub man - but also have a couple of surface boats. I just have an incline to sail - bit more...

Well I've had my sub for three years now - still having a great time with it as a dynamic diver. The secret is in getting the balast just right to allow a slow speed dive - it does help of course...

Thanks for that Pete - does the sub move at a reasonable speed when submerged? - the Neptune does crawl along fairly slowly. Also been wondering if the Galathee has any fail safe surfacing equioment...

Hi - I don't know that particular submarine so I'm not sure which seal you're talking about but I had a similar problem with the Robbe Seawolf where the hull seals against water around the inner...

A friend of mine has dug an old RC boat out of his loft - the boat was given to him many years ago by a friend of his. The idea is that he has asked me to check out the boat and see if i can get it...

A friend of mine was telling me today that he had read somewhere that a modification nose cone can be had for the Robbe seawolf V2 to change the appearance to a WW1 type VII submarine - anyone else...

The Robbe Seawolf kit IS a dynamic diver - in case you haven't seen one you just ballast the sub well down in the water until the decks are awash - then after setting the front dive planes slightly...

Hmmm... I thought the Nikko version could just be pulled under water vertically by using the motor under the Hull, then kept stationary at a given depth. Must have got the wrong idea - I'm happy...
