If you go Traxxas. Stay away from the slash. It simply doesn't handle that great... would say a Mini Revo or Summit.
What about the HPI Mini Recon?
I like the look of the Flux XS but have heard...

Well last year we ( Co-workers, family) picked up a hand full of those S107 for about $20. for Xmas gifts.
Now people are looking for some Rc trucks. $20 is not the price range. I know it will be...

Does it start to "die" right away... or does it not take off at all...
If something was slipping on the shaft... it would seem under powered.... maybe.
blades not getting the RPM needed.

The MCX2 is not a huge advantage over the original.
I do like my MCX2..
Guess it depends on the $$ difference.

Tower had the T- MAXX for like $375 Plus $40 off ( $335) and a $15 GC.. ( Then I had Free Shipping ; )
But that Promo is over now
