RE: F27 STRYKER,WAY PAST THE LIMITS! Part 3

Cadetman,

You can come for the maiden flight. You'll need to buy a round tripper to the states and back to the UK, though.
Initial plans are to run a stock motor as my BLs are in other birds....

The ParkZone P51 electronics are proprietary and will not accept a brushless speed control or three wire servos. [:@]

RE: Parkzone Releases New F27 Stryker Model!

sjchmura, [:o]
Save one of the damaged PZ servos for me. I would like to perform a teardown and inspection of the gears and associated parts. Bring it next time you are at the house.

RE: Good Li-Po battery charger??

Multiplex LN-5014, Triton and Accu Cycle Elite are all excellent chargers. This is evaluation based on my experience. I am sure there are others that perform well for a reasonable price.

RE: Multiplex LN-5014 charger

I have an LN=5014 and find to be excellent for the price. It replaced an MRC 969 that never seemed to perform correctly. LiPo, NiCad, Nimh are all handled well. ;)

RE: Parkzone Releases New F27 Stryker Model!

That is a 2C rate and will heat the batteries up during charge. Very few NiMh cells last long when charged above 1C rate. [:@]

RE: F27 STRYKER,WAY PAST THE LIMITS! Part 3

A word of caution on propellers.[:@]

RE: F27 STRYKER,WAY PAST THE LIMITS! Part 3

sjchmura,
The term 6V or 7.2V do not equate to the operting voltage for a brushed motor. You need to get the manufactruers voltage range or useable cell count.

RE: Parkzone Releases New F27 Stryker Model!

Glacier Girl,

Sjchmura is refering to an incident with a tree that jumped up and grabbed my 60 powered bird. The trees at our club field are carnivorous.
