RE: K2R spot lifter source??

This is quite a coincidence in that I was trying to tell another flyer just the other day about K2R and how well it used to work. I also have looked for some but haven't found any where I live.
The...

RE: Blade 400/3D Gyro Question?

Thanks Wnuk
I found after looking real close that the belt shaft is bent real bad. Just ordered parts and I think that will fix it. It would rotate but was intermittent and causing the belt to slip...

Blade 400/3D Gyro Question?

I got the Blade 400 this week and took it to the field with another friend that has a little experience with the Heli he has. It has been a long time since I have flown one but it hovered without...

RE: Has anybody built and flown a Lainer Dominator 200

I picked up one at a swap meet 2 years ago for $5.00 and just recently built it. I started out putting a 1 ounce tank, 55's servos. I ran into a lot of trouble with the wing servo and linkage. From...

RE: Fokker D-VIII Plans

Hi Warren

I just got a new (to me) very used 1/4 Scale Fokker D-VIII that is missing the tail feathers. I am in need of a set of plans or just the dimensions and wood size of the stab and rudder. The body is...

RE: Radio question

It looks like you are progressing real good. Why not just use your thumbs to control the elevator and rudder? Most flyers at my club don't use the rudder at all except to take off and land. I have...

RE: Butyrate Dope

Thanks Dave.
Nice looking Bipe. This is the Tower Kaos that I am redoing. Nice flying plane but I was afraid that I was stuck with what I have. Oh well. I guess I'll have to just dope some more. I...

Butyrate Dope

I have an arf that I have literally flown the cover off. Last year I stripped the fuselage and used Koverall and dope. I used what I had which was Cub Blue and Orange. Now the wing finally gave it up...

RE: Question - Attaching windshield to old timer

Thanks for the info. I'll get me one. My airbrush system needs a total turnaround. I will try to download my Super Kaos when I get to the painting part and maybe someone can draw me a paint scheme.

RE: Question - Attaching windshield to old timer

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT. I sure wish my brain would work on color schemes. Mine just turn out PLANEJANE. I sure do envy someone that can paint that good.

Hi Jeff
Good info there. There was so many flying today at the field I didn't get to try too many attempts at the stall turn. I did accomplish a decent one and after it was over I remembered I...

RE: Super Kaos and OS 55ax??

RE: Super Kaos and OS 55ax??

Hi Ed
Do you fly pattern much?? I am having trouble with the double stall turn with the 40 Kaos. I have full throw on the rudder but it will not turn when it gets that slow. I have never been to a...

RE: Super Kaos and OS 55ax??

Thanks Dave. I have allready set it up for the 55ax. The Veco sure looked good. Thinking back, I have never used a perry carb. I understand they were the "Cats Pajamas" for carbs. I remember those...

RE: Super Kaos and OS 55ax??

I THANK everyone that has responded. I think the decision has been made to put the 55ax in the Super Kaos. Instead of the wooden motor mounts, I have put a nylon mount in and could change it out if...

Super Kaos and OS 55ax??

I am scratch building 2 of the Super Kaos. The original prints show a VECO 61 and was wondering if the OS 55ax would be an equal to the VECO 61 in power. A friend of mine that will get 1 of the 2 has...

Vic
The next time we fly together I'll bring some Kleenex for you. Some to wipe the plane butt and some to wipe your forehead from sweat.
