Two and three speeds are about keeping the engine...

Two and three speeds are about keeping the engine in the powerband. So if possible, get some numbers for your motor. Also if you are running a 2wd drag setup I suggest you get a shoe type 2-speed...

RE: difference between Magnum NX and MT-Spec?

What kind of car or truck do you have from cen?

well if its at least the same as the mt-spec then it's already better, cause it's $35 cheaper. I still can't find any solid info though!

electrodiesel ?

Hey guys... I was just thinking about putting in a .061ci (1cc) diesel motor connected to a motor, to generate electricity and drive a brushless setup in an rc18t.

I did the math, and the...

RE: How much does a turbo go for? worth it?

Thanks for the suggestions. The only problem is that I drove my friend's V8 5.7L Camaro, which has 170,000 miles and a screwed up diff... and I easily burned a few beemers, older m3's, subaru's etc....

RE: Nitro Rock Crawlers Only

another thought, if a nitro generator/small 7.2V batt is used, you don't need an rx batt cause as long as the receiver has a BEC circuit it can get its power from the ESC.. so the original 7.2v is...

RE: Nitro Rock Crawlers Only

Worm gears might solve your problem but they are inefficient. You will need to at least have a matching helical-cut gear with the worm gear. On top of that, if you are running high RPM's you will...

RE: Nitro Rock Crawlers Only

I have a solution to the torque converter/rolling backwards problem.

You have a throttle, and a brake (and maybe a reverse gear, but that's irrelevant). Usually when setting up linkages in a...

What would be a good r/c for a 10 yr old?

Hey guys, I am wondering what is a good electric car or truck for a 10 year old? It needs to be tough, simple, and CHEAP!! Well, let's put it this way; it has to be simple so that when he breaks it,...

RE: Mini .095 Car Engine

I built one this year, or maybe last year, had some fun and then took it apart because my custom clutch system wasn't the greatest. But now there are tons of them! Just search for xray nt18t, or...

RE: Mini .095 Car Engine

Most of the small car engines you see come in both pullstart and non-pull (regular backplate) versions, because some small trucks don't have space for a pullstart.

Also, they kind of...

RE: Project: ONE BAD MENACE

That's probably a typo, the .28 diablo probably only goes to 33k instead of 43k rpm... that is pushing it even for high performance .21's. Does it say what rpm the 2.8hp is at? I haven't seen racing...

RE: Project: ONE BAD MENACE

If you want to keep the gearing stock, then not having enough hp is not the problem. Those .26+ engines generally have a bad top-end.. Look at any serious .21 and you will find that its rpm rating is...

RE: Blade CX Suitable for AP?

I don't think so. A Blade fixed-pitch heli would be too unstable, in addition to not being able to lift a digital cam AND downlink AND extra batteries. If you were set on doing it though, I would at...

wireless av in cars?

Hello,

Has anybody ever mounted a long-range wireless system to an r/c car or truck? And driven it around the neighborhood? Also, I'd like to be able to send an offroader in the crawl space......

What's this business like?

Hi everybody! I am curious to find out what the AP business is like. What kind of gigs are most popular? How many gigs per week? What's the best flying rig?

And how about insurance? ;)
