I have no doubt that Tower will take care of it, just disappointed at the QA by the MFG. If they truly check each charger it should have been caught when they powered it up or just general overview...

Will Hitec come out with another flight pack? I have been out of the airplane scene for a few years but I kept my Eclipse 7 I bought which I can get the 2.4 kit for.

Did Hitec discontinue Supreme IIS receiver? I seen on Hitec's site that the flight pack had been discontinued (which I'm bummed about) but the receiver is still being listed as current.

Does anyone make the wider wheel hexes in aluminum?

It also looks like Tower doesn’t carry the aluminum steering kit for the Type-E, so I guess I will have to order it from TamiyaUSA.

Can someone verify my wheel base and track measurments I made with a tape measure and converted? I made these using the outside and bottom for the wheel for track and the rear flat to rear flat on...

Out of morbid curiosity, can you run a sensored motor with the sensor unplugged? I have never worked with sensored brushless motors, only the non-sensored motors I use on planes.

Swap two of the wires on the motor around. That is what we do with the brushless motors on planes, but I have never messed with a sensored motor so they may be different.

One thing that bothers me is that the Cyclone with the Stratus body is listed at $159 and the one with the Mazda 6 body is $174.... Is it really that much difference in the cost of the body shells? ...
