Well just got back from the hobby shop, didnt want to wait so I bought a XTM 457 and we put it in. Still breaking it in, will keep everyone posted! Thanks for all the helpful input!

Uh Oh =), so do I buy the competition version and if so what do I need to do to make it work in the xxl? Is it as reliable as the .30 pullstart?

I bought a Losi XXL LST at the strong recommendation of my friend who has been playing with rc everything since he was in diapers. He races every thinkg all the time, runs events, etc...

Correct, I have the reflex xtr.

I think I have the orientation straight now =), I'm gonna give this a shot. I have 20 plugs so I can make a few mistakes heh.

Thanks I will try it out! I have a white wire and a beige wire. The white is going to the tip of the mono plug, the beige going to the flat part around it with a resistor connecting the two.

My darn dog ran by and ripped the cord from my computer. Upon closer examination the plug remained in the usb adapter and the wire ripped clear out. Now I have a new RJ11 plug but I am not sure where...
