RE: Brillelli 46gt

I started with Penz 32:1. Switched to Stihl synth at 50:1 after a season. Gained a few hun rpm. No mess. Tore it down once to check carbon buildup - all soft, no hard scales. I like the stihl....

RE: First Giant Scale 3D Gasser?

Do not shift the motor mount location to the side!

That will throw your thrustline WAAAY outta wack. It must be put in the right spot. My recommendation is purchase a "pitts wraparound"...

Tips for removing the jug?

Got a Brillelli 46 that has lost 5 or 600 rpm. When I crank it over by hand there is a "clicking" at TDC. After pulling the plug and looking in I see quite a bit of carbon buildup.

I'd like to...

RE: Smart Fly?

Closing the throttle or choke does not reliably kill Electronic ignition engines Eganwp.

Get the SmartFly optic kill or something like the 42% products kill. Opening the circuit for the EI...

On multi bolt prop...

RE: Introducing the new 100cc Edge 540!

Hey Rocco.

Getting ready to order my 100cc Edge from Hi-Flight (when they land there) and I have a couple questions.

Does the stock kit come with the cool "ripped carbon" graphics on the...

RE: New 35cc Extra 300 QB!!!!!!!!!

I use a Brillelli 46 on the 260 version of this. For sport flying, sure the 36cc will haul it around, with some creative CG tweaking. The 46 has just enough for effective 3D, so don't expect much...

BME 116 /stock muffs, spin a Mej 26x12 3 blade?

Considering a Mej 26"x12"N-3Blade in front of a BME 116 Xtreme to pull the AW 100cc Edge.

Will the 116 perform well with it?

I understand 3 blade props are usually smaller than the equal 2...

RE: Good cutoff for 1st gasser

Use the stand-alone smartfly unit as described above David, you don't need a whole power expander rig for a Cub though. The stand-alone is inexpensive, good value, has excellent features and is very...

RE: New 35cc Extra 260!!!!!!!!!!!!

That 3 blade Xoar sure looks sweet Super08.

If you are pulling to the canopy it sounds like you are too CG forward. I had to tweak my 260's CG back myself. Have you done the 45deg upline...

RE: Introducing the new 100cc Edge 540!

Thank you Mark.

Yep, 45 is a great baseline. But it's nice to hear the bevels do 50-55 as I'm a waterfall junkie and I like 'em tight.

You guys at Aeroworks gotta stop building such great...
