Go back to page 1 of this thread. Look at post #8. Note how close my mounts are to the top of the firewall compared to yours.

Measure the thickness of the mounting rails then move the mounting...

RE: Great Planes Matt Chapman Eagle 580 ARF

Quality of this ARF is really nice. I installed a Rimfire 80 electric motor in mine and it flies great. Plenty of power! The only thing I'm critical of is the main gear. It's fiberglass and it cracks...

It's the one with a balancing connector......

I'm hooking everything up the way it shows in the Triton manual. It seems to work fine.

Thanks,

RE: I have a fear of lipos..

OK.... here we go...

The Hobbico Accu-Cycle Elite is charging the lipos at 2A. It stops charging at 12.6V (so the led readout says)

I then immediately check the lipo with the craftsman...

RE: I have a fear of lipos..

No, the charger is the only thing that shows 12.6V. The Craftsman voltmeter shows well over 13V. The batteries are new. Two of them are Turnigy 11.1V.
(2650maH) The 3rd battery is Electrifly 11.1V...

RE: I have a fear of lipos..

The charger is clearly going up to 12.6V and stopping. That should be 4.2 per cell but my meter shows otherwise.

Maybe I need to use a different meter.

Any suggestions on what's a good...

RE: I have a fear of lipos..

I have a question about charging my 2200 mah 11.1 volt 3s lipo on a Hobbico Accu-Cycle Elite. I'm charging it at 2A. After about a half an hour, it reaches 12.6 volts or 4.2V per cell.

When I...
